Position description:

In this role the Solution Architect/Sales Engineer will play a vital role in working closely with an Account Executive to act as the technical resource to help drive revenue with customers. The Solution Architect/Sales Engineer will also work with channel and alliance partners to help them become proficient with company offerings and to work on RFP's demonstrations and presentations, address technical issues, etc. and to help drive revenue.

Required experience and skills:

•5-7+ years of customer facing experience and domain technical knowledge of cloud, virtualization/VDI, and other related technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, NAS, Network File System, storage, etc.

•Strong written, communication and presentation skills

•Understanding of the infrastructure components and customer management / roles (operations, infrastructure, engineering) in an enterprise data center environment

•Understanding of desktop virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix/Xen, Microsoft, others) and other cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google, others) with some hands on experience

•Experience configuring, installing, deploying, managing and supporting operating system, network, and storage management tools and applications

•Ability to multi-task and act with a sense of urgency to customer needs.

•Self- motivated, takes initiative and requires minimal direction

•Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

•Willingness to travel

PM Responsibilities:

• Bachelors in a technical field, ideally computer science or engineering

KIT LIST TIPS:

This is the monthly reminder to let you know that if the volume of KIT emails is getting too much for your system, here are three options to help you manage them:

1. Direct all KIT emails to a special folder:

Some email systems allow you to create separate folders within your in-box. Create a KIT List folder and then create an email filter that will direct any emails with the word "KIT" in the subject line into that folder.

2. Have your emails grouped into one (or more) KIT email per day:

You can choose "Daily Digest" on your YahooGroups email preferences so that instead of getting individual emails. About twenty individual emails are then combined into one. Depending on the email volume for the day, you may receive more than one digest email.

Go to the KIT List home page on Yahoo Groups at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KITlist-Tech/

Go to the "Edit Membership" link near the top of the page right above the blue bar saying "Sue Connelly's Keep In Touch List." Under Step 2, choose "Daily Digest" in the "Message Delivery" section. Hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page, and you should be all set.

3. Stop all KIT emails and view jobs via the Web:

Go to the KIT List home page on Yahoo Groups at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KITlist-Tech/

Go to the "Edit Membership" link near the top of the page right above the blue bar saying "Sue Connelly's Keep In Touch List." Then go under "Message Delivery" and choose "Special Notices." Be sure to choose "Special Notices" since we do occasionally send out important messages from the moderators. Then hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.

-Fluent in Word, PowerPoint and with advanced Excel knowledge.

-Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis

-Ability to articulate short-term (quick wins) and longer-term solutions.

-Previous ROI analysis

-Basic knowledge of the structure and functionality of web search

-An understanding of web search strategies and techniques.

-Familiarity with HTML and XML is strongly preferred.

-Familiarity with metadata is strongly preferred

-Previous search relevancy analysis is a plus

-Knowledge of FAST Search engine or Attivio is a plus.

--Familiarity with user experience analysis a plus

--Ability to create SQL queries a plus

-Familiarity with the analysis of Customer Satisfaction measurements as well as a firm grasp of standard satisfaction methodologies is a plus

What skills you need:

+2 years of hands on experience in iOS development with latest iOS SDKs

Extensive knowledge of Objective C and Swift

Experience in the full lifecycle of both online and offline Apps

Experience with xcode

Proven experience building hybrid Apps

Your Responsibilities:

Ship new features, squash bugs, and constantly improve the maintainability of our code base

Turn ideas and designs into well-tested, modular architectures that are easily re-used

Work with designers, engineers, program managers and other disciplines to hit deadlines while maintaining a high quality product

Continuously develop and release applications to the app store on a monthly basis with great unit and application test coverage.
