Data Service Engineer needed for a long term direct client project. Client is Fortune 500, stable and growing.
** Local candidates with Local Experience preferred due to in person interviewing. (Local = San Francisco Bay Area) **
Responsibilities:
Work in a small team and to promote database provisioning and data refresh solution to over hundreds of different applications teams. Must be able to converse and work with several application teams. Must be able to work independently and a strong problem solver. As this position deals with technologies across multiple tiers, from Oracle, server, storage, network to programming, an in-depth understanding of those technologies is a must.
Required Experience:
-Possess a Computer Science degree
-Able to work with various application teams and to promote solutions to them
-Experienced in managing and architecting Oracle infrastructure and Oracle Cloud solution
-System Administration with experience in Linux, AIX, Solaris
-Familiar with visualization, cloud services
-Experience in designing, building, and deploying automation related application/script
-Experience with REST api, Java, Perl, and Ansible programming
-Worked with Delphix Appliance
