Software Developer needed for long term project for direct Client Project. Client is stable, public and growing. *Only local candidates with local experience due to in person interviewing.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop various automation software components for our global scale analytics infrastructure. <br /> • Validate technology and perform production roll out of features.<br /> • Analyze data and diagnose issues analytics platform components.<br /> • Working with stakeholders develop run-books for platform operations.<br /> Requirements:<br /> • Domain expertise in at least two of the following areas: ELK stack, Hadoop ecosystem (CDH or HDP), Kafka and stream processing, Cassandra or HBase, MPP or distributed SQL engines, and large-scale data visualization tools. <br /> • Strong software automation experience in at least one of the following areas: Distributed systems monitoring, multi-region deployment and configuration management, data pipeline monitoring, and large-scale distributed systems management. <br /> • 2+ years of strong scripting experience (Python or equivalent) is required<br /> • 5+ years of systems software development (Java, Go, Scala or equivalent) is desired. <br /> • Experience with Ansible, Puppet or equivalent configuration management required. <br /> • Experience with automated deployment and management software stacks is required. <br /> • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.<br /> • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br /> • Agile software development, deployment, and life cycle management.<br /> OTM Software Professionals is a locally owned and operated company in the Silicon Valley working on the hottest projects.
