We have an immediate need for INTERACTION DESIGNER with following skill sets:
Client is currently seeking a contract Interaction Designer with a visual design background. The ideal designer will develop and execute interface and visual design solutions for the client and has strong skills in creating site maps, navigation design, information organization models, workflow and error handling as well as providing full-color mockups and working prototype. The Interaction Designer is part of the Product User Experience team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Possess interface design skills and have an understanding of interface design principles.
Create site maps, navigation design, information organization models, workflow and error handling
Create prototypes of varying fidelities based on a given design problems and finish off with complete visual designs
Create various icons for use on site
Communicate your designs effectively to engineers and actively collaborate with them through implementation to resolve design questions and ensure desired execution.
Collaborate and share on design ideas and actively critique own sketches and iterate to discover the best designs.
An eye for aesthetics and creating clean, clear designs
Works with front-end engineers to establish and maintain functional and aesthetic consistencies.
Follow and establish design style guides
Skills in HTML 5/CSS3 are a plus.
Assist UX Manager wherever needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree (Graphic Design preferred) or equivalent experience
5+ years of directly related experience
Interpersonal skills, comfortable with design critiques.
Mac experience using Omnigraffle, Fireworks, Photoshop or Illustrator.
Portfolio is required
