Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of systems-related components within the production infrastructure. This includes HW, OS, and SW.
Continuously monitor systems infrastructure and find ways to improve it.
Collaborate with others on new product designs and problem analysis.
Analyze, understand, and document existing systems and processes.
Research and Redesign existing systems and processes with a focus on rapid and repeatable deployment, accurate and consistent configuration, and useful instrumentation.
Find ways to leverage infrastructure to improve our products and service.
Provide expertise, assistance, and support to other organizations throughout the company.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 7-10 years experience in progressively challenging technical roles
Expert-level knowledge and experience with RHEL
Strong understanding of Apache, PHP, and Tomcat
Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or Systems Administrator
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Desired Qualifications:
Experience building tools and utilities (Perl, Python, PHP, etc.)
Reasonable knowledge and experience with Networking, Storage, and Databases
Experience at SaaS or Internet-based company building scalable web systems
