OTM is seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer for a direct client company project. Client Company is
stable, growing and well known. Long term opportunity, pay rate negotiable DOE.

**Local candidates with local experience preferred (local = San Francisco Bay Area)

The Data Warehouse Engineer will be responsible for understanding/analyzing the business requirements and come up with optimal data solutions. The primary responsibility for this role will be (not limited to) to enable business driven data solutions involving variety of sources and destinations by leveraging technology stacks (both open source and commercial). This role will be vital in understanding both business and data architecture, and apply the learning to solve business problems. Ideal candidate will have real-world, demonstrable experience � ideally in related industry, have big picture vision, and be able to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
� Work closely with business analytics/business operations and other partners (marketing, sales and finance) to understand and translate their business requirements.
� Work with architecture and development team to come up with end-to-end data solutions and implement them iteratively in timely fashion.
� Work with architecture team to come up with optimal data models involving large and/or complex data sets.
� Educate/evangelize business with data architecture/stack to come up with optimal solutions.
� Work with the business analysts/engineering teams to define the technical approaches for solving business problems.
� Document the business logic along with data lineage for the solutions provisioned.
� Work with platform team to integrate these solutions to evolve self-serve analytics.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
� Solid understanding of Analytical/Data Warehousing systems.
� Exposure to sales, marketing and finance systems.
� Data integration involving heterogeneous data sources.
� Experience with all aspects of the data modeling life cycle (business/conceptual/logical/physical)
� Experience with relational databases - preferably Teradata, Oracle
� Experience with Hadoop/Pig/Hive, NoSQL solutions, Spring
� Strong programming/scripting experience
� Excellent communication and soft skills to work with business.
� The candidate should be a highly motivated, self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and willing to accept challenges in a dynamic fast paced work environment.
