[KITlist-Tech] Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Consultant (Virtual / Home Office, North America)

Semafone North America is recruiting for a sales engineer / pre-sales consultant. The ideal candidate will come from the call center and/or payment card industry and will provide a proven background in:



- assisting sales/account executives in presenting and demonstrating enterprise software solutions worth $200K to $1 million+

- explaining telephony and call center industry terms like ISDN, VOIP, SIP, SBC, ISR, DTMF, switching, routing

- explaining payment card industry terms like issuer, acquirer, payment gateway, PCI-DSS

- describing application integration terms like API, Java, Java Script, .Net, and XML

- explaining the difference between on-premise and hosted/cloud implementation environments



This is a home office based position with 25-50% travel expected. The candidate should have easy access to a major airport and could be located in Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, Atlanta, San Francisco, or any other major metropolitan area.



The candidate should be proficient in MS-Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) including diagram development in Visio. Proficiency in the use of webinar software (WebEx, OneBox, etc ...) is strongly desired.

Desired Skills and Experience

- bachelor���s degree

- 5 years or more experience selling enterprise software in a pre-sales role

- excellent oral, written, and presentation skills

- experience selling to Fortune 2000 companies

- experience with a complex sale (obtaining multiple "Yes votes" from different buying influences)

- well versed in all aspects of sales engagement including discovery, qualification, RFPs/RFIs, demonstrations, evaluations, proof of concepts, ROI/Cost Justification, and transition to implementation services

- entrepreneurial mindset, roll-up sleeve attitude with start-up/early stage passion
