POSITION – ECONOMIC ANALYST

DURATION – 6 Months plus

LOCATION – SAN JOSE, CA

Job Description:

Conduct research, prepare reports or formulate plans to address economic problems related to the production and distribution of goods. The consultant will collect and process economic and statistical data using sampling techniques and econometric methods.

Must Have Experience –

- Compiling, analyzing and reporting data to explain economic phenomena and forecast market trends, applying mathematical models and statistical techniques in a commercial environment

- Studying economic and statistical data in area of specialization in Sales or Marketing and Finance

- Identifying the underlying principles, reasons or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.

- Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

Requirements:

Data Analysis, SAS/R and Eviews experience

Quantitative Economic Analysis experience

Masters in Economics or Masters Degree with relevant work experience.
