Software Testing and Automation Engineer

Description

Linux Kernel (device driver) development experiences. and expertise with (FIO, IOMeter tools

 Responsibility:

• Develop, test, debug and analyze some of the Linux device driver modules. 

• Software development skills (C/C+) to make modification and enhance device drivers Linux kernels

• Knowledge of storage performance metrics and tools (FIO, IOMeter etc)

• Create and execute test cases to assure software quality and data integrity on storage software 

• Ability to modify, build and deploy on different hardware platform's and perform testing Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience with Linux kernel and user level programming development and debug

• C/C++ programming

• Hands on experience in any script languages (Python, Shell, Perl,..) in Linux environment

• Must be familiar with OS, storage system concepts.

• Good understanding of Linux IO subsystem.

• Good communication skill Location: San Jose campus
