ZOLL has an open position for a Senior R&D Manager, Disposable Products, in its San Jose Division. The Senior R&D Manager, Disposable Products is a key member of the Research and Development group and the position reports to the Director of Invasive Products. The position is responsible for: 


•direct functional leadership of a team of engineers, technicians and consultants whose focus is on the development of catheters (primarily) as well as other related medical device disposable products 


•providing project management/leadership for multiple R&D programs 


•new product life cycle including definition, design, implementation, release, launch and on-going maintenance (sustaining engineering) 


•leading, supervising, and/or personally executing engineering activities related to the development of new products and the implementation of new technologies 


•participating in strategic planning of new product development, product improvements and enhancements

Desired Skills Experience 


•BS Degree (MS preferred) in an appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent 


•Minimum of 2 years direct experience as a functional engineering manager 


•Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the medical device development environment 


•Strong cross-functional project management experience 


•Knowledge and experience developing procedures and products in QS Regulation and ISO 9001 compliant quality systems
