Probo Data Group has an amazing long-term contractor opportunity and is seeking an experienced software engineer for a 20-30 hours per week engagement.  Probo Data Group is a growing Silicon Valley based software company that works to automate our customers business processes.  Our passion is to simplify a complicated workflow process so our customers can be more productive. 

 

Candidate must have 5+ years' experience working with .Net and Microsoft-based technologies with knowledge of object-oriented design and best practices.  Candidate must have an eye toward a good GUI design.  Candidate must be able to take loosely written requirements, ask lots of good questions to come up with the best design.   Must be able to work with a small team of software and database engineers to make the project successful. 

 

Primary skills must include:

·       .Net Framework

·       Good GUI design skills

·       Classic ASP technologies

·       Strong troubleshooting skills

·       Able to lead web development effort of the evData Pro product

·       Develop and maintain web-based .Net software

Preferred skills include:

·       Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Reporting Services

·       Quickly understand core business processes and how they relate to programming/project efforts

·       Analytical, verbal and written communication skills

·       Earned Value Management knowledge or background
