[KITlist-Tech] CONTR: Off-the-Shelf Connector Support Engineer (Cupertino, CA)

Our Fortune 50 client is looking for a person to fit a position that consists of both hardware engineering and documentation. The candidate will work as part of a larger team to update hardware models and maintain and generate procedures and reports.

Primary Job Functions

•UG CAD Work: OTS / custom / semi-custom connector modeling, updating existing CAD models

•Generate spec documents using Acrobat and vendor specifications

•Generate and distribute Engineering Requirements Document (ERD) and Connector Performance Specification (CPS) document requests to vendors

•Generate and distribute Test Procedures to vendors

•Locate connector information from vendor web sites

•Assemble OTS sample boards for new products

•Request sample parts for vendors for boards and Engineering requests

•Review and interpret FAI/CPk data and CPS reports

•Assist in maintaining At-A-Glance (AAG) project reporting documents

•Assist in generating ECOs

Qualifications/Requirements

•BS in Engineering or related discipline

•Working knowledge of Agile PDM and Calypso

•Knowledge of Apple requirements for environmental controls
