Our small, focused team develops practical yet elegant code with a minimum amount of "process." Every engineer has the opportunity to work on projects that will significantly impact our customers, broadcast partners or our company- likely all three!

We want passionate, analytical people with deep OO programming skills (any language) and experience with large-scale products.


Product Manager

You will work closely with engineering and other internal stakeholders to build and manage internal tools and robust online systems of sizable and rapidly-growing scale. You will own a large platform that supports millions of updates per year across a team of 50-60 people. These systems will provide a huge value to our internal teams and measurably impact our users, broadcasters and business partners.


Responsibilities:

Compose a comprehensive strategy to address challenges with content management, customer support, internal tools and organizational efficiency.
Define product requirements by interpreting sometimes ambiguous feature requests.
Prioritize projects and features based on the organization's needs.
Articulate your vision through wire frames and case descriptions to engineering and content/support teams.
Collaborate with engineering and operations to deliver projects and provide ongoing technical support as appropriate.
Lead engineering projects to meet aggressive deadlines and drive consensus on technical decisions.
Drive consensus on technical decisions.
Gauge and improve key operational metrics.
Prioritize projects and features based on the organization's needs.


Requirements:

Product management and/or software engineering experience.
Data-driven decision maker, highly quantitative.
Ability to build consensus and prioritize tasks.
Exceptional communication and writing skills.
Experience with large data sets.
Passion for high quality.
Enthusiasm for radio is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)


Nice to have experience

Supply chain management, operations engineering or similar experience
