I am embarking on a search and reaching out for referrals. The detailed description of the Product Director Roles is available upon request. Here is a brief overview:
The positions are located in San Diego, California. There will be consideration for relocation. We are interviewing candidates for several Directors of Product aligned with these three categories:
Headphones
Computer Audio
Docking & Accessories
Reporting to the Vice President of Product and Engineering, the Directors of Products are responsible for the growth and profitability of their respective categories. This will be driven through innovation and the creation, selling and maintenance of product portfolios and roadmaps. To do this, they must influence brand strategy and drive the competitive strategies for the categories. These competitive strategies will inform technology roadmaps, identify target consumers, guide Industrial design, manage global pricing policies, and ultimately determine the success of product roadmaps.
Successful candidates will be innovators who create commercial value. They will be evangelists for, and owners of their product, and will have extraordinary bragging rights for their categories success. They will own the global category P&L and product lifecycle management from conception through end-of-life.
