POSITION – SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
LOCATION – SANTA CLARA, CA
DURATION – 6 MONTHS +
Responsibilities
• Windows Systems Administration – OS evaluation, upgrades, server migrations, internet security, configurations, backups and maintenance.
• Provide all level support for the company (software/hardware/virtual machines), high availability, disaster recovery and server builds.
• Work with network team and deliver a high availability blueprint for ESX network topology including VLAN trunking, firewall access and cluster.
• Architect, document VMware cluster and ESXi environments and implement servers based on design.
• Disaster recovery planning, architect and document design of Windows infrastructures including Exchange 2007, MOSS 2007, Project 2007 server, DHCP.
• Propose and redesign AD sites and service to a more manageable and secured environment
• Responsible for AD, Exchange, Moss 2007 and Windows related applications
• Supports remote offices and point of contact for Windows related escalation issues
• Provide recommendations/best practices in all major IT system infrastructure.
Requirements
• Windows Experience
• Microsoft Exchange 2010 (2003 – 2007)
• Active Directory
• MS Sharepoint 2010
• VMWare ESX 4.1
• Cisco Routers/Switches/Firewalls
• DNS/WINS/DHCP
