Job Title: Sr. Product Manager/ Sr. Technical Product Manager

Responsibilities:

Write software functional specs and agile user stories.

Manage the agile process as product owner in the agile scrum method.

This involves QA of acceptance criteria.

Create conceptual UI and help coordinate between UI, middle layer and backend for a geographically distributed team.

Collaborate with the rest of the product management team on product strategy and product roadmap.

Work with product marketing and corporate marketing on product positioning, messaging, and competitive intelligence.

Work with charter customers and cooperative development partners on new applications and major new feature sets.

Skillsets and Academic credentials:
Required: Bachelor of Science in ME or EE engineering, mathematics, economics, computer science, statistics, or information technology.

Preferred candidate: Also a Masters degree in one of the above.

Required: excellent communicator orally and written.

Required: some prior work experience as software developer or architect.


Experience:

Required: prior verifiable experience as a product manager, business analyst, systems engineer, or applications architect for the development of energy management software.

Required: verifiable participation in one of the above roles for more than one entire major software release cycle over a minimum 4-year period.

Required: 5 yrs min. experience in an energy-related career position.

Preferred candidate will have prior background in enterprise software or other commercial software offering.

Preferred: experience using Agile scrum method of software development.

Preferred: prior background working for a SaaS company.

Preferred: experience with 1 or more of these: BI platforms, License Mgmt software, Building Mgmt Systems, Commissioning, Regression modeling.

Relocation subsidized? No. Must be US citizen (or already have permanent work visa) and be already located in the SF Bay Area.
