Please direct your responses to: ernest.small@gmail.com

User Experience Designer

My client is a revolutionary, end-to-end publishing platform designed to bring immersive, interactive magazine and newspaper content to consumers via touch-screen, high-resolution digital devices, including tablets and smartphones. Through a comprehensive digital newsstand populated with a vast, curated selection of magazines and newspapers, consumers will be able to purchase single copy digital subscriptions and print/digital bundles and download content to the device of their choice – all through a one-stop, one-click storefront. With $3 billion projected in subscription revenue from interactive periodicals by the year 2014, my client is committed to bringing an easy, economical e-reading channel to consumers, publishers, advertisers, and technology partners.

Job Description

My client is looking for a designer to join their team in building an end-to-end publishing platform created to deliver magazine content across many different devices and environments.

The right designer will need to take initiative and work independently, as well as collaboratively, to ensure a great, consistent reading and purchasing experience across mobile, tablet and PC. He or she will work closely with product management on defining core layers of functionality, then help engineering execute that functionality via mockups, style guides, wireframes and prototypes.

If you like poring over design blogs, follow your favorite designers on Twitter and spend an inordinate amount of time making things pixel perfect, then you're probably who they are looking for.
