Below is the job description.

Profile:
Under the leadership of Manager, Software Development the SSRS Report Developer with oversight of a Team Leader will be responsible for developing reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). The focus of this position is development, but a more valuable candidate would have high proficiency in the analysis of report requirements and design and proven experience in delivering report solutions.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for developing SSRS reports using SSIS and CUBES.
2. Will work closely with Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse teams to understand the underlying data structure of our databases.
3. Maintain, convert and troubleshoot existing reports with thorough understanding of the processes and interrelationship with other programs.
4. Fine tune existing reports. Understand the relationships, storage parameters and implications for any new report development
5. Collaborate with various customers and suppliers to set and meet reporting expectations.
6. Support management in recommending process enhancements and analyze new procedures to enhance efficiency.
7. Share best practices with team members and provide technical leadership.
8. Participate in staff, team, and planning meetings as needed.
9. Other related duties as assigned.


Skills and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
2. Experience in the IT field in the Health Care industry preferred.
3. Expert in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) skills.
4. Ability to develop complex SSRS reports using SSRS 2005/2008.
5. Proven experience (5+ years) with MS SQL Server.
6. Good understanding of .Net Framework experience is highly desirable.
7. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills both technical and user focused.
8. Working knowledge of assorted database design methods, theories, and practices.
9. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple tasks, and problem solve under pressure of deadlines and resource constraints
