Duties
Candidates should be experienced in project management disciplines: management of scope, project plan creation/management, risk management, escalations, etc.
The person hired into this role will be working with various business and IT stakeholder.
Responsibilities will include building and managing project schedules, timelines and milestones.
He/she will also be responsible for maintaining and reporting project status, issues and risks.
The person in this role will be responsible for identifying risks and issues and proactively addressing them.
He/she will monitor schedule deviations and assist in the development of alternative methods for corrective action at the project level.
This individual will interface with numerous internal groups and must be able to quickly form productive and positive working relationships with staff with varying technical and business backgrounds and skill levels across the organization.
The right candidate will be a self-starter, an independent worker who can be successful in a team environment.
Someone with high energy and is willing to go the extra mile to get a project done is highly desirable.
Skills
5+ years project management experience.
Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Business, or a related area.
Experience developing, maintaining and tracking project schedules, milestones, scope, and timelines. Effective problem solving, facilitation, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills a must.
Proficient at conflict resolution.
Comfortable working with technical and business teams / various end users.
Experienced user of sharepoint, MS Project and Visio
