Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is currently looking for a Webmaster consultant for one of its high-tech clients located in Sunnyvale, CA. The Webmaster will partner with the Corporate Marketing team, internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful daily production on our clients' WWW site and Partner Center.
The ideal consultant is a web-driven entrepreneur with experience and passion for all aspects of the web, including core competencies in managing multiple stakeholder groups through a change management process.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Manage the daily production of the Partner Center and the WWW site
* Proactively check and correct bugs, errors, or common problems on Partner Center and the WWW site
* Implement modifications on live and dev pages for the Partner Center and the WWW site
* Work with IT to upgrade and maintain the Partner Center and the WWW servers and software
* Build new pages in WordPress, PHP and HTML
* Maintain and improve search engine optimization, RSS feeds and social media integration
* Interface with global theaters and vendors to maintain and update global and externally managed sites
* Work with Marcom team to conduct keyword research including cataloging and indexing target keyword phrases, tag and title content, with an understanding of search traffic and rankings via recurrent optimized content
* Work with Demand Generation team to manage and track link building campaigns
* Manage and communicate metrics
* Project management: Plans, timelines, costs, stakeholder change management
Skills:
* BS in Computer Science or similar plus 5-7 years of relevant web, user interface and web marketing experience
* Required: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Flash, WordPress, Apache, Microsoft IIS Manager, DotNetNuke, and ASP.Net
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Word Press, HTML, Marketo, SalesForce.com
* Hands-on experience in external web and internal web management - preferably in the networking technology industry
* Strong knowledge of web architecture, web creative and web production for high technology companies
* Understanding of how brand identity and web design and development is a key component to a successful corporate marketing strategy
* Strategic experience in corporate marketing organizations, logistics and delivery of sites globally
* Proven experience in collaboration, teamwork, cross-functional and cross-cultural groups. Experience in engaging and developing collaborative relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to drive projects forward in a rapidly changing environment with a strong emphasis on team work
* Strong overall negotiation skills
* Ability to manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal
* Ability to exercise independent judgment and work with little supervision
* Knowledge of networking and telecommunications market a plus
Rate: $1600-2000 per week, D.O.E., as a w2 employee of Crawford Group
Location: Onsite at corporate headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA
Hours/duration: Full-time, ASAP-ongoing
