[KITlist-Tech] Salesforce.com Business Analyst (San Francisco, CA)

This role will focus on managing success through projects affecting the Sales, Product Operations, Order Management, Invoicing, Credit & Collections, Revenue Recognition and Sales Compensation functions worldwide at Salesforce.
Primarily responsible for generating feature requests, business requirements, test planning and execution based on operations data analysis, the candidate must excel in Excel, be intimate with the business web, and, ideally be experienced with using salesforce.com to streamline business operations issues. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Xactly (web based Sales-comp calculation tool), and Oracle Financials 11i/R12 is strongly desired. Productive experience in a Team-oriented, Dynamic and highly collaborative work environment is a must.
To be a subject matter expert (SME) in the areas of:
• Sales Compensation Calculation, Sales Quota, Bonus & Payout Systems and business process area
• Sales Hierarchy and Territory Management Systems
• Identifying business process/system improvements, gather requirements, documenting proposed changes
• Documenting AS-IS and To-BE business process flows. Analyze policy, systems and stakeholder impacts
• Define E2E solutions, test plans, solutions, and functioning as the business lead for ongoing and to-be-defined improvement projects
• Work with Salesforce
• Effectively collaborate and communicate with the functional stakeholders in various business groups, IT and QA effected by to the quote-to-renewal systems and processes
• Assisting business users with day-to-day issues, process improvements, metrics reporting, simple solutions to complex policies in the area of Goals to Commissions (Sales Incentives and Sales Compensation
• Challenging legacy policies and procedures that complicate quote, order, invoice, credit, commissions, and revenue processing, understanding the flexibility for change, and formulating creative solutions or work-around based on that analysis
• Provide level 2 support in commission processing, ad-hoc reporting, Data analysis and uploads using:
• SFDC Sales CRM, Xactly, Excel
Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree, with 5+ yrs related information systems experience
• Background in business process analysis, system requirements, as well as data modeling and detailed functional design
• Solid understanding of:
- Sales Quota, Goals Management
- Sales Compensation rate data, splits, Commission calculations process & systems
- SPIFF & other sales incentive bonus business process, systems, data flow architecture is a key to be successful in this role
- Sales Hierarchy/Territory Mgmt, Order management process
• Strong understanding of SCRUM and Agile methodologies
• Deep knowledge of business applications, with a focus on:
- SFDC Sales cloud,
- Xactly (cloud based Sales-comp calculation tool) or similar environment
- Oracle 11i or R12
• Expert understanding of systems analysis, including root cause analysis, and other process modeling and systems design methodologies
• Solid project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks
• Exceptional analytical skills, independent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Has demonstrated ability to work with teams to identify and analyze process improvement opportunities and define resulting technology solutions
• .Must be a go-getter and salesforce.com enthusiast who thrives on working in fast-paced environment
• Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
• Excellent influencing, negotiation and problem solving skills
• Ability to do complex reporting using Excel and in the Salesforce.com environment
• Ability to work with deadlines and in a fast paced environment
• Ability to think out-of-the-box
• Ability to be creative, versatile, efficient, and flexible while maintaining a positive attitude; learns quickly in a dynamic environment
