Sr. Application and User Interface Developer (Windows & Ajax)
Skills: Visual Studio/C#, DHTML/AJAX, XML/XSD/SGML Authoring
Location: Pleasanton, CA
We are currently seeking a senior software engineer to lead development
of its unique authoring environment and application user interfaces. We develop
and market a new breed of technology for managing complex decision-making
operations. Our pipeline is oversubscribed and we have top partners and investors. You
will have the opportunity to get in early, innovate new technology for a very complex
business problem, and enjoy every minute of it.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for design and development of our user-facing applications.
Initial focus will be our new authoring environment, which is currently assumed to be
deployed as a Windows application with a web service backend to our server. This
application requires very strong understanding of the technologies behind XML/SGML
authoring environments like XMetaL and StyleVision, or other types of highly structured
document authoring systems. This position also has the opportunity to take over our
Ajax framework and create the front ends for our growing portfolio of industry
applications.
Primary qualifications include:
• 5+ years experience in design and development of commercial enterprise software
applications.
• Experience developing production thick-client and thin RIA applications, with
responsibilities including application definition, end-user experience and screen
design, and business logic development.
• Experience with business rule management systems a big plus.
• Strong track record delivering high quality, complex software in a timely fashion
with real understanding of sound engineering practices.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
