Title: Web Metrics Tagging Technical Analyst
Location: San Jose, CA
Contract: 6+ months
We have an opening for a Technical Tagging Analyst. This javascript-based code supports both the Adobe SiteCatalyst and Adobe Insight reporting tools. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science, coding experience with html and javascript, and more recent analytical tool experience with administering SiteCatalyst tagging strategy.
Job Description:
The Technical Consultant must be proficient in javascript, HTML and have experience implementing web analytics tags and take an active role in ensuring all pages and events are tagged, modifying the javascript when needed, managing the quality of the tags. The Consultant will conduct analysis, modify and develop tagging implementation guidelines. Train web content managers on how to tag according to the implementation guidelines. Work with the web development team to implement a scalable tagging methodology into the development framework. Lead multiple projects, manage daily client integration and identify opportunities for additional tagging efficiency opportunities. Work with the business unit to convert the business reporting requirements into technical tagging requirements. Create and document, standards and processes for tagging . Manage the implementation process with the vendor and business unit for target delivery, overview of tagging specs and testing, quality assurance trouble shooting issues. Collaborate with external partners and agencies to assist with tagging implementation. Troubleshoot technical issues and the ability to identify key needs or gaps and provide leadership to close those gaps.
Qualifications:
7+ years experience in web development, javascript, HTML, DHTML, IBM WebSphere, AJAX, and Web 2.0
Proven experience and success implementing Adobe SiteCatalyst, Adobe Insight (Visual Sciences),
Classic ASP, Microsoft Access, PHP, MySQL Flash and HTML5 video-player tagging is a plus,
.4Web analytics, or digital marketing experience preferred but not necessary.
Global mindset and ability to think across disciplines, industries, business requirements, etc.
Detail-oriented and keen problem-solving skills.
Handles multiple tasks, switches priorities and focuses as needed.
Proven ability to successfully manage projects.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Marketing, business management or a related field; MBA preferred
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
