[KITlist-Tech] CONTR: Design Verification Testing Engineer (Silicon Valley, CA)

Design Verification Testing (DVT) Engineer - Contract

The initial phase of this contract is six (6) weeks, with a potential extension to six (6) months for the second phase of the project. This job includes verification testing of multiple PCBs as well as the system in its entirety.

Skills required:
• Knowledge of high speed design criteria, PCIe, SAS/SATA
• Ability to work with the design team to develop test cases
• Intimate knowledge of lab test equipment used to measure jitter, timing margin and signal integrity
• Ability to understand schematics and data sheets to determine pass-fail criteria
• Knowledge of Storage system testing: (transfer rates, capacity, connectivity, load, etc.) (Desired)
• Knowledge of environmental test requirements and methods
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience in design verification of high speed digital designs
• Excellent communication skills
• BSEE or equivalent preferred
