Title: Project Lead/ Jr. IT Project Manager
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6+ month contract, renewed quarterly
We are searching for a Project Lead/Jr. Project Manager who has the capability to manage the project and hands on in Datawarehouse Implementation process and methodologies.
Required skills:
- 5- 7 years of IT experience as a Project Lead/Jr. IT Project Manager and able to handle IT production support.
- Technical Experience in data warehouse implementations and BI practices and support.
- Experience and fixable in managing global support model with prior experience with Teradata database systems.
- Experience in supporting production maintenance with issues related to Teradata EDW and supporting developers in trouble shooting Teradata ETL utilities
- Implementing Performance Tuning and take up Refresh Optimizations where ever applicable.
- Fixing/Modifications of the ETLs for the performance, logical enhancements and concerns raised following the Change Management Process.
- Leading and Guiding the Production Support team for the Applications responsible.
- Resolving Incidents, Queries, requests and Cases raised by the downstream and other data users.
- Review and Enhancement of Service Level Agreements with the interfacing units and Business on a quarterly basis.
- Performing data analysis and data profiling to facilitate decisions on proposed design Changes
- Reviewing and developing complex SQLs for business requirements of ETL and BI
- Planning and Executing Teradata systems migration and related activities through planned releases.
- Conducting performance tuning of Teradata SQL queries working with Informatica workflows and sessions
- Participating in defining and implementing technical direction and architectural solutions
- Analyzing plans, collected data and statistics to identify performance and data issues
- Very good communication skills
