POSITION – SENIOR QA DEVELOPER
DURATION – 6 MONTHS +
TYPE – CONTRACT TO HIRE
LOCATION – SAN MATEO, CA

DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA developer who can lead the development and support of our Client's automated testing systems, and help build a QA team that will ensure that our Client's trading platform maintains at the highest levels of reliability and security. The consultant will develop automated tests with industry frameworks to produce functional, browser/platform compatibility, stress, performance, and security tests.
Success in this role requires a diverse range of experiences and skills. We are looking for a test developer who is smart, motivated to solve problems, and an excellent communicator and leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Extensive experience in developing automated testing systems for web applications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience testing financial systems a plus
• Familiarity with Ruby, Python, MySQL and Linux a plus

EDUCATION
• Undergraduate degree
• Computer Science or Engineering degree a plus
