Sales Engineer/Systems Engineer
HotLink is a venture-capital backed virtualization and cloud management software start-up in Santa Clara, CA, that has been recognized as a Gartner Cool Vendor, Best of VMworld winner, Network World Company to Watch and recipient of many other industry awards in 2013.
HotLink is a well funded startup with over 1000 customers and growing, HotLink has the patented technology and only solution of its kind to enable VMware data centers to seamlessly and easily integrate and manage other hypervisors and public clouds, like Amazon Web Services.
We are seeking a System Engineer who can support our customers in implementation of the HotLink technology.
The System Engineering role is a critical and very visible role responsible for implementing proof of concept through production projects as well as delivering post-sales support.
Key requirements
(Must have strong external customer facing skills)
Should have excellent consultative skills
Strong Virtualization skills.
(Prefer local candidates)
At least 3 years of administering one or more of the following virtual environments (VMware vSphere, Citrix XenServer, Red Hat VM or Microsoft Hyper-V)
Hands on experience in providing technical support for virtualization products
Working knowledge of server and network administration and operating systems
Experience with enterprise data center management solutions (e.g. Opsware/HP, Bladelogic/BMC, Tivoli/IBM, CA) is an advantage but not required
Bachelors in technical discipline or equivalent preferred
