We are looking for a IT Service Delivery Project Manager for a high technology company in the enterprise software, hardware and services space. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing complex infrastructure related projects for the client. The role will manage the delivery of infrastructure services and will be accountable from gathering requirements to delivery of all necessary infrastructure components.
This is a 6 months, 40 hours per week, onsite role in Philadelphia PA. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.
Responsibilities
• Defines and manages project requirements, objectives and activities to achieve both strategic and tactical business goals.
• Develops detailed project plans and schedules, assembles project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and monitors progress to ensure timely completion.
• Develops project plans and leads different stakeholder and teams in plan execution
• Charters projects, determines scope definition, develops plans, verifies with business owners, and manages change control
• Oversees multiple concurrent tasks and projects performed on a interdepartmental basis and within approved budgets.
• Conducts weekly team and status meetings and reports status and tracking support to management and executives.
Requirements:
• 8+ years experience in managing IT infrastructure projects in a project management role
• Extensive experience with MS Project
• Good knowledge of all functional areas of IT including infrastructure, OS, network, Virtualization, SAN, datacenters and monitoring etc.
• Good understanding of disaster recovery, business continuity and high availability concepts
• Strong coordination, multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and spoken interpersonal communication skills
• Pro-active. Ability to take ideas/feedback and turn into action.
• BS Degree, PMP highly desired
