OTM is looking for highly motivated, creative and entrepreneurial Web Operations Engineer for a long term (1+year) consulting project for an excellent Client Company. Client is Stable, Public, and Growing.
*Local candidates with local experience preferred (Local = San Francisco Bay Area).
Job Responsibilities:
Help to deliver projects aimed at advancing large scale Mobile Applications. Build Release and Web Operation Support Engineering with demonstrated experience delivering advanced solutions in a multi-tier, distributed environment for large scale Mobile Application.
Required Skills:
Should be a quick learner, Attention to detail is important.
Must have Expert level experience in scripted languages - Shell, Perl, Ruby, Python (any one at least).
Experience with Continuation Integration with Jenkins
Experience in building binaries using Maven Xcode
Know about Nexus repository Manager and its necessity.
Able to troubleshoot use and know internals for SVN and GIT
Linux experience and with basic in-built commands to troubleshoot basic issues like disk space, port conflicts, processes, memory, permissions, etc.
Knowledge of how to use Puppet MCO
Experience setting up simple web server like Apache or containers like Tomcat.
Knowledge of how to meddle with server configs HAProxy is a plus.
Basic knowledge about java and start/stop process.
