A key member of the IT team responsible for steering website redesign and enhancement projects that effectively present, support, and promote the work of the academic departments, programs, and research centers. This candidate will guide website projects from scope to launch – consistently ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, high quality, appropriate branding, and adoption of standards-based technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Determine project scope and assess project fit for various development models.
• Determine project requirements using Agile methodologies - asking the right questions to get all the answers.
• Develop user stories and lead Agile prioritization exercises.
• Draft a site architecture – including map, content model and taxonomy structure.
• Act as a design consultant and content strategist.
• Manage issues during the implementation phase.
• Manage schedule and budget.
• Manage developers assigned to the project. Translate business requirements effectively as functional requests that developers can execute on. Verify the work.
• Make calls for readiness to launch and manage post-launch processes.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of relevant work experience, working in a similar role or capacity.
• Experience launching websites using web content management systems. Expertise with Drupal 7 a plus.
• A significant amount of experience with web architecture, user experience, design, content, search, accessibility and analytics.
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects. Experience with Agile methodologies a plus. Willingness to quickly shift on priority and direction.
• Excellence in verbal and written communications. Able to create professional-level technical documentation and proposal documents.
• Exceptional ability to interact positively with and build consensus among a diverse group of colleagues, faculty, and senior leadership. Excellent customer satisfaction record.

2.) 2+ Years Web Project Management (Agile environment)
3.) 1-2 years development experience (HTML/CSS), website redesign
Contract is 1-year with possibility for extension.
Rate is D.O.E.
