• Strong object-oriented programming and software design skills
• Ability to design and prototype user-facing features
• Excellent debugging and performance analysis skills
• Detailed knowledge of JAVA and android SDK development
• Experience in resource constrained environments
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development and Agile Methodologies
Description
You provide technical leadership for a small team of android software engineers responsible for architectural and technical decisions of the android application. Your involvement will span from brainstorming, sketching, prototyping, coding, debugging, through to shipping. Throughout the process, you will work collaboratively with the rest of the team in an environment focused on peer-reviewing all code changes, maintaining a high level of automated testing and iterating quickly. You will also work with outside teams, including the human interface design team and other development teams.
Education: BS in computer science or equivalent experience
