We are a hardware startup made up of key engineers from Apple. We are looking for strong, full-time engineers to start immediately and help launch our first consumer product.
Sr. Interface Designer:
UI Designer
Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, prototypes and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Degree in interaction design, visual design, or equivalent experience
Background in painting and/or illustration highly desirable
5+ years experience designing desktop, mobile or web applications or sites
Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles
Demonstrable mastery of Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, or other design tools
Mastery of mobile platforms like iOS and Android
Great written and verbal communication skills
Excellent collaborative skills
Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules
Advanced level of knowledge of animation tools such as After Effects or 3D tools such as Cinema 4D, Modo or Maya are a plus
