We are looking for a Marketing manager for a 3 to 6 month contract at fast growing high tech company that is building and launching a platform on which developers can build applications for IT departments. This role would focus on developing the positioning, messaging and go to market plan for the developer platform and executing the platform launch. This is a 40 hr per week; 3 to 6 month project at the client's offices in Santa Clara, CA. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the positioning and messaging for the developer platform solution
- Create a go to market plan for the developer platform solution
- Build and execute on a plan to attract developers to create apps on the platform
- Build and execute on a plan for the app store, which will house created apps created by the developers
- Launch the developer platform solution, working cross functionally across the marketing team
Requirements:
- 5+ years of developer platform marketing experience
- Prior experience of strategically planning for and executing the launch of a developer platform and app store
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work across geographically distributed organizational and functional boundaries (engineering, sales and business development)
- Entrepreneurial mindset, roll-up sleeve attitude with start-up like passion
- BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, MBA preferred
