The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing complex projects while ensuring that the projects produce the required deliverables, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. The role will manage the governance, scope, costing, scheduling, communications, planning & tracking, terms & conditions and risk management of the projects to ensure total customer satisfaction.<br /><br /> This is a 6 months (potential extensions), 40 hours per week, onsite role in Dallas, TX. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee. <br /><br /> Responsibilities<br /><br /> • Defines and manages project requirements, objectives and activities to achieve both strategic and tactical business goals.<br /><br /> • Develops detailed project plans and schedules, assembles project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and monitors progress to ensure timely completion.<br /><br /> • Develops project plans and leads different stakeholder and teams in plan execution<br /><br /> • Charters projects, determines scope definition, develops plans, verifies with business owners, and manages change control <br /><br /> • Oversees multiple concurrent tasks and projects performed on a interdepartmental basis and within approved budgets.<br /><br /> • Ensures smooth transition of projects deliverables to concerned teams.<br /><br /> • Conducts weekly team and status meetings and reports status and tracking support to management and executives.<br /><br /> • Works across practice to share lessons learned and best practices with team<br /><br /> Requirements:<br /><br /> • 8+ years experience in managing IT projects in a project management role<br /><br /> • Extensive experience with MS Project, SharePoint and MS Office Suite<br /><br /> • Well versed in IT Infrastructure technologies such as servers, storage, security, network, applications, virtual environments, etc.<br /><br /> • PMP certification / ITIL certification preferred<br /><br /> • Strong coordination, multi-tasking and organizational skills<br /><br /> • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.<br /><br /> • Excellent written and spoken interpersonal communication skills<br /><br /> • Pro-active.
