Engineering Project Manager needed for long term project work for large Client Company.
**Due to the nature of the interview process, local candidates with local experience preferred (Local = San Francisco Bay Area)
Responsibilities:
- Liaison between Product Management and Engineering teams.
- Responsible for streamlining and driving the Agile software process.
- Manages project scope in an agile scrum process with external waterfall dependencies
-. Acting scrum master -- Drives Agile Scrum Ceremonies / Meetings and reports on sprint velocity and burndown
- Creates and tracks project dependencies for external teams that are not Agile
- Prepares project status reports, release plans, and sprint timeline reports
- Manages cross-functional communication and acts as the "glue" across teams
- Required Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of combined experience of hands on software development and project management.
- Self-motivated, proactive individual, comfortable working in fast paced environment.
- Excellent project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution, change management, and risk management.
- Ability to manage the cross functional team consisting of product managers and engineers
- Certification in Project Management and Agile framework preferred.
