[KITlist-Tech] Marketing Operations (Automation) Manager (San Francisco, CA)

Help build the foundation of an evolving direct and digital marketing department and shape your own marketing database and analytics program. This position is responsible for the management and ongoing improvement of the Delta Dental marketing database as well as any corresponding reporting and analytics. More specifically, this position will collaborate with B2B and B2C programs to build data driven acquisition, retention and wellness campaigns, analyze those campaigns and optimize efforts over time.

Description:

• Work with Direct Marketing, Automation and IT to manage and improve a unified, enterprise prospect and customer database for use with marketing automation and analytics

• Help B2B and B2C lines of business answer the tough questions by building an analytics program and evolving that program over time to be predictive

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop target segments for B2B and B2C campaigns

• Build and improve campaign reporting and analytics enabling test and learn programs and campaign optimization.

• Create and manage lead and consumer scoring models

• Develop data append and enrichment strategies to further analytic and campaign targeting efforts

Job requirements:

• A BA/BS degree required with strong academic background or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of experience with 3 or more years in database management and analytics.

• Strong proficiency in Tableau

• Understanding of statistics and what constitutes statistical significance in testing

• Experience with marketing automation platforms like Adobe Campaign (Neolane), Oracle Eloqua or Marketo

• A strategic, creative thinker with big ideas and strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Working knowledge of analytical and database marketing techniques such as A/B testing, segmentation and predictive modeling

• Conduct data analysis to design, test, and implement marketing strategies. Apply data mining and statistical analysis to make actionable recommendations

• Strong written skills with ability to present information and findings clearly in analyses and reports; translate data into graphical presentation as appropriate

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively with and through others, a team player.
