Technical Product Manager – NoSQL

Location: Bay Area or West Coast Remote

Here's a great opportunity to be a Principal Product Manager in a hot startup. Our NoSQL client is looking for a Product Manager with a strong technical background to join its team. You will be responsible for a new server query engine and indexing technology. It is assumed that you have a very good understanding of database technology, query optimization and execution engines, SQL language, high performance indexing and the real time query needs of modern big data applications, with prior experience in product management.

Responsibilities

· Define the requirements for new features and enhancements

· Write the technical specification and design

· Be an evangelist for the product



Requirements

· 7-10 years of experience in the information management industry

· 3-4 years highly-focused technical product management experience

· BS or MS degree in Computer Science

· Domain expert in databases is a must with deep knowledge of the database landscape

· Understanding of SQL Language, Query Processing, Optimization, Indexing technologies in NoSQL and Big Data

· Experience in a start-up environment a strong plus
