Title: Security Infrastructure Program Manager
Location: San Jose, CA.
Contract: 6+months (renewed quarterly)
This group is an infrastructure group that is moving to the next-generation security platform and architecture to enable top IT accelerator initiatives. They are seeking Program/Project Management talents with excellent security technology knowledge and big picture mindset, great collaboration / influence, and strong communication skills to provide leadership in the role of a Security Infrastructure Program Manager. This is a great opportunity to take on a position with great impact and play an integral role.
The ideal candidate will posses large-scale infrastructure program/project management experience and in-depth knowledge of Web Application Security platforms, Authentication / Authorization / SSO / Federation and Directory services with following core responsibilities:
- Be the Champion and Point of Contact for IT Security infrastructure services with expertise in Identity / Access Management and Directory technologies.
- Collaborate with business, client & partner groups to understand their Security requirements and work with infrastructure technical teams, external vendors to develop and integrate Security solutions for the enterprise.
- Drive technology evaluation, build & deployment of security platforms in global datacenters, ensuring that the architecture is resilient, meet functional requirements, performs to user expectations and can scale for large-scale enterprise adoption.
- Market Security infrastructure services and ensure adoption across the enterprise.
- Work with internal resources and external partners to maintain appropriate performance and operations excellence of infrastructure services.
- Lead global teams and drive program/project execution with both onshore & offshore team members.
- Develop and maintain Security infrastructure delivery roadmaps with domain architects and technical leads.
- Plan & estimate work effort, writing Statements of Work (SOW´s), and managing the project scope using outside service resources and managed projects approach as required.
- Track Security infrastructure service costs and work to ensure funding sources are secured.
- Assess program/project risks and create mitigation plans.
- Manage information, developing and executing communication strategy as well as facilitate information sharing at all levels.
- Present complex ideas, issues and options at any stage of project life cycle in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical executive audiences.
- Drive change, identifying impacts, build awareness and rally for change support within impacted organization areas.
- Proactively initiate actions to identify risks, resolve problems/issues and report on mitigating steps and actions taken to ensure on-time and quality program/project delivery.
- Guide delivery teams to take architectural approach to solutions and adhere to IT governance principles and standards.
- Streamline the delivery processes to ensure consistency and repeatability. Leverage lessons learned to constantly improve Security services and enhance standards and best practices.
Skills Required:
- Deep knowledge of Identity / Access Management and Directory technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to understand technical infrastructure integration issues and effectively manage to resolution with the delivery team, partners and vendors.
- Agility and willingness to deal with a high level of ambiguity and changes
- Strong leadership, influence, collaboration and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to facilitate win/win situation for parties involved.
- Global teaming skills and ability to focus the team to deliver to tight timelines
- Ability to put together and present option proposals with associated pros/cons and costs for management decision on critical issues.
Minimum College/Undergraduate degree (e.g. B.S/B.A) or equivalent with 5+ years of technical infrastructure program/project management experience, preferably in Security / Identity Access Mgmt and Directory domains.
