Our client is a leading boutique consulting organization that is a leader in their field and is in a strong growth mode. As a result of their expansion we are currently seeking experienced and accomplished SAP APO Consultant to join the continued expansion of their organization for these great opportunities:
Position title: Senior APO Technical Consultant
Location: Anywhere in the U.S.
Position description:
The qualified candidate will have extensive APO experience. Must have the ability to analyze complex business problems and provide clear recommendations. Must have the ability to communicate with business users, to understand business requirements, frame the problem and provide a solution. Must be comfortable working in a multicultural, diverse environment with the desire to embrace the company culture and core values.
Required skills:
•Proficient in at least two technical areas and an overall understanding of other areas
•10 plus years of SAP technical experience with experience IS –retail/AFS a must
•Must have the ability to prepare/review technical specs, taking into consideration performance requirements and company's development standards
•Must have the ability to deliver technical developments that meet company's development standards
•Must have the ability to unit test developments, both positive and negative, and ensure that the technical specifications are met
•Should have hands on experience on the APO core interface including SAP extensions and user exits for the relevant function modules.
•Must have a good technical understanding of the APO demand planning models, supply network planning, production planning and detailed scheduling and the interfacing of data between these modules and standard SAP.
•Must have the ability to lead their technical area through an end-to-end implementation
•Must have the ability to lead design sessions in their technical area
•Must have the ability to communicate with business users; to understand business requirements, frame the problem and provide a solution within their technical area
•Has the ability to accurately estimate their team's work and manage work packages to meet the work deadlines
•Ability to see the big picture in providing a solution, taking into consideration the impact to SAP, non- SAP systems, and business process impacts
