Pricing Analyst Consultant
International Consulting Group Marketing (www.icgmarcom.com), located in Silicon Valley, is seeking a well-qualified Pricing Analyst consultant for our leading Tech 200 client.
The Pricing Analyst consultant will perform data and pricing analysis to develop pricing recommendations for business development/sales bids. Analysis and recommendations focus will be on optimizing sales margins and price competitiveness. Pricing analysis and guidance will also include researching individual product's market viability, forecasting price performance, and resulting product offerings/mix optimization. Responsible for analyzing large volumes of bid requests in order to prepare timely, accurate and compliant pricing bids support for prospect submission.
Location:
Onsite at Client HQ/ Offsite flexible. South Silicon Valley/Home office.
Compensation:
Depending on experience and market-rate competitive.
Duration:
Full-time, 3 month project initially with opportunity for project extension or potential option for fulltime employee conversion.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of pricing and Excel experience. In a high tech environment a plus.
• Capability to use data analysis to effectively impact pricing strategies and bidding decisions.
• Proven ability for evaluating complex pricing requests and determining optimal price bidding.
• Excel "Black Belt" proficiency /Expert User including (i.e. pivot tables, Macros, VLOOKUPs).
• Highly effective at cross-functional teamwork with Director level-stakeholder, business development, program finance/bids assessment team, technical and contracts staff and virtual teams.
• Ability to conduct research on competitive intelligence for price-to-win analysis.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of high technology and IT pricing.
• BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with one or more a plus; telecommunications, education verticals, federal bidding process.
