The ideal candidate will have experience working in a centralized analyst capacity, supporting multiple departments. Candidates should have a for thirst for getting things done and have a passion for applying technology to help solve real business problems as they happen. Candidates should be comfortable working with loosely defined requirements and have a strong desire to work on Business Intelligence applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage reports in the company's reporting solution, Zipline. These reports cover a variety of functional areas including Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc which range from showing data tables, trend line charts, and custom developed visualizations for interactive charts

• Partner with internal customers to strategize, define, prioritize and deliver reporting requirements.

• Own data quality and integrity. Investigate, explain and address data discrepancies to improve process efficiency

• Identify and extract the necessary data to build reports and generate information and insights

• Tune and optimize extract and query processes to deliver rapid results to end users.

• Define data and ETL processes and requirements to insure reporting needs are meet

• Responsible for identifying process issues along with presenting high level recommendations to business leaders and executives based on information derived from reports

• Work with team members to plan and execute weekly sprints

• Identify best practices and areas for improvement and drive those initiatives within the team.

• Evaluate core business process issues at individual office or company wide scale and create action plans to address and improve overall business function

• Analyze process engineering data to problem solve and fix reporting issues, produce better reporting data, and ultimately build reports to generate desired information to analyze

Qualifications:

• B.S. or higher from a top tier school

• 4 + years of experience in an analyst or similar capacity supporting multiple disciplines including sales, finance, operations and marketing.

• Comfortable supporting and presenting to findings to internal customer audiences

• Experience querying and optimizing queries against relational databases, ideally Microsoft SQL

• Experience with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software, creating pivot tables, etc.

• Ability to handle fast paced, high urgency reporting needs and perform well under demanding situations

• Software Programming experience is a plus, especially with Python.

• Experience working with DataFrames and statistical analysis is a plus.

• Driven and focused. Self-starter. Able to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to learn quickly, think critically, have a great attitude and hunger to learn

• Must be a great team player and focused on customer service and experience

• Detail oriented with track record of delivering on time results

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background search
