We're looking for someone who embodies the following:
• Passionate about beautifully designed app experiences.
• Passionate about Agile development principles including TDD, CI and automated testing
• Writes solid iOS code that is both maintainable and elegant.
• Has a strong ability to work independently.
• Is excited to pick up, learn and run with new frameworks as they are released.
• Loves all aspects of application development, from brainstorming and design to implementation and launch.
Qualifications:
• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience developing well architected software in a fast-moving environment (monthly releases).
• Have released your own personal app or have led with a team on a major app release.
• An interest in contributing to deep product design sessions (though candidates need not be visual designers).
• Experience leading teams to successful project launches
• Experience with git
• Expedia Media Solutions has offices in Bellevue, San Francisco and Gurgaon
Day-to-day duties:
• Develop prioritized features
• Pair with developers on features
• Design and architect the app as its being developed
• Continuously look for improvements in the app, the process and the way we work
• Raise concerns around estimates and our ability to release software on time
• Work closely with functions like QA to ensure quality is built into the app
• Ensure test coverage as appropriate
• Understand the iOS roadmap and be be prepared for changes that impact the app
• Help build the team's technical expertise by looking for pairing opportunities and facilitate technical discussions
