(v1.08 - 1446510662) - OTM seeking a Sr. Java Developer for a client company project involving mobile product development. Long term project using bleeding edge technologies.
** Local candidates with local experience preferred (local = San Francisco Bay area)
Responsibilities:
Develop, programming applications for Mobile eCommerce. You will define integration to other systems via services and APIs, key customizations and extensions of the systems, data conversions and migrations. You will interact with other teams and IT groups on an ongoing basis. You will also enjoy the benefits of working in a fast growing business where you are encouraged to "Think Different" and where your efforts play a key role in the success of Client's business.
Must have:
•Strong Core Java, J2EE, Spring or other MVC framework programming and design skills. Experience with Mobile back end development.
•Demonstrated expertise in multi-tiered application development, and familiarity with design considerations such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), performance, scalability, re-usability and flexibility
•Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle
•Extensive experience with web application servers such as Tomcat, Weblogic, etc.
•Familiarity and experience with packaged or custom CMS solutions
•Proven ability to manage to deadlines and meet cost constraints
•Ability to support multiple projects at the same time
Nice to have:
•Experience with Java/Scala frameworks
•Experience with high traffic eCommerce mobile applications, or online transactional web sites
•Working knowledge of software development methods and Agile development practices
•Knowledge of HTML, XML, Mustache, CSS, Javascript, and JS Libraries
Education/Experience:
•8+ years development experience
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Management is required.
•MS degree or equivalent is preferred.
