If you:
- Design, execute innovative content management and delivery strategies, keeping the lab and user experience firmly in mind
- Lead a cohesive team of senior technical writers, employing seasoned managerial skills with humor and aplomb, all the while promoting the cause of good, minimal technical writing
- Manage planning and scheduling for all technical content at Fluidigm, from user guides to online Help to everything in-between, as part of our overall communications strategy
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a clear and defined strategic message and delivery across all brand and communications efforts
- Work within Fluidigm to promote the value of the Technical Communications department, increasing its contribution and visibility
- Have fun, be fully engaged and promise to have a life beyond �work�
We will:

You must have:
- A solid resume of past writing projects, with timely and demonstrable results
- A belief that good, minimal content is achievable, even in a highly technical niche field
- A keen interest in current best practices and industry trends, for technical communications and beyond
- 5+ years of relevant writing experience (samples required), and good practical knowledge of widely used authoring tools
- 3+ years of technical communications management experience, leading writing teams in life science, technology, design or related industries
