Envision Technology Marketing Group, Inc., (ETMG) is seeking a Content Designer for a client in San Jose, CA. As the Content Designer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing unbeatable content and engagement with the client company's users. You will also be responsible for partnering with teams who own content execution across multiple channels with measurable growth.
You will be part of a strong Design function, reporting to the Content Design & Strategy manager.

Requirements

• Work cross-functionally on content creation and direction
• Can create content for different stages of the funnel – shop, learn more, make up their minds.
• Help create content categorization in a way that it can be repurposed across multiple channels
• Can write content informed by user research, A/B testing, data analytics, and our brand positioning and style guides.
• Optimize content for SEO to increase prospective conversions through improved rankings and increased engagement

Desired Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of prior content writing experience (preferably for commerce platforms)
• Strong understanding of omnichannel experiences
• Experience working on products with Product Managers and designers
• Excellent writer and researcher—you can tell stories and communicate concepts to a wide variety of audiences without using jargon
• Organized and self-motivated with the ability to define goals and prioritize work based on what's most impactful to the business and our target audience
• Nice to have: Experience writing for and about the cybersecurity, application security or information security industry
• A portfolio or sample of your work on commerce applications

This is a full-time, 6-month contract, paid hourly, remote opportunity. This position may turn into FTE for the right candidate. Hourly rate DOE.
