We at Park Computer Systems, Inc., a Technology Consulting and Staffing company are constantly on the lookout for professionals to fulfill the staffing needs of our clients, and we currently have a job opening with our Key Direct Client which is a Fortune 150 firm to find a "Linux System Admin" that may interest you or someone you know.
Below is a summary of the position.
Job Title Linux System Admin
Loc: - Redwood City CA
Rate: - DOE on W2 (including Medical and basic Insurance)
Duration: - 4 -6 months (possibility of contract-hire)
Skills:-
- Excellent experience in administering 500+ Apache servers
- Excellent scripting skills using Shell, Perl, Python and/or Ruby
- Experience with LDAP administration will be a big plus
- Experience with Nagios monitoring will be essential
- Experience with MySQL databases like backup/restore, replication will be great
- Experience with open source tools like Puppet, Virtualization (Xen, KVM)
- Knowledgeable of Dell hardware will be wonderful as well
