Job Responsibilities
Deploy and operate large scale cloud infrastructure and application services in our data centers
Responsible for architecting and managing FrontRange platform-based solutions
Work with customers to design and implement operationally efficient unified offerings
Deploy, support, and manage FrontRange technologies remotely and at scale
Be part of the team that manages our customer-driven support and escalation system
Work with our Engineers and Systems Architects on infrastructure projects
Maintain current hands-on knowledge of the FrontRange platform and solutions
Document best practices in developing and deploying our solutions and drive relevant content into our knowledge base for reuse by customers and partners
Support our customers and community on support forums, blogs, mailing lists, tweets, etc.
Update and enhance existing business applications in accordance with customer and business demands
Develop and implement technical strategies and approaches that support diverse solutions
Identify and help prioritize functional improvements in the core SaaS platform
Participate in on-call rotation to support 24x7 coverage of our service offering
Requirements:
8-10 years of experience designing, developing, architecting and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments
Application development experience with enterprise products such as FrontRange Solutions, Remedy, Service-now, Salesforce.com, Oracle apps
Experience with functional analysis and architectural modeling methods, including business process and logical data modeling
Excellent critical thinking and analysis skills in an enterprise environment
Demonstrable experience with Web services
Hands on experience operating modern high scale web based applications, tweaking application configurations, deploying and operating various infrastructure and middleware components, database servers, etc.
Understanding of modern IT production datacenter and Internet hosting operations
Proven experience in designing and deploying virtualized infrastructures
A good practical understanding of Web-based application development platforms
Experience with modern software development methodologies, with emphasis on IT process automation software, hardware architecture, and infrastructure design and development
Familiarity with modern programming languages and frameworks specifically on .net stack
Must possess superior interpersonal skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to clearly articulate complex technical issues to all levels of the organization
Strong hands on knowledge of MS SQL Server or Oracle
Experience in full life cycle of application development
Experience as a business analyst or solution architect strongly desired
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Desired Skills
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
Experience creating technical documentation
Application integration
IT service management following ITIL guidelines
Previous experience in a Professional Services Organization (PSO)
