Sr. Product Manager, Enterprise Collaboration Solution
We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager for an opportunity at a start-up within a large, high technology company. This is largely an inbound product management role focused on a new enterprise collaboration SaaS solution. The solution is being released later this month, and the client is looking for their first "official" product manager to work on the future roadmap, define enterprise requirements and work with the development team in bringing the next release to market.
This is a 40 hour per week, 3 month contract to Perm role at the client's offices in Sunnyvale, CA.
The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for understanding the crowded market landscape, enterprise customer needs (IT admin and end users), and internal concerns and ideas to define an overall roadmap for the enterprise collaboration solution. More specifically, the Product Manager will be responsible for the definition of enterprise features and working with the development team (in house and potentially outsourced) to incorporate those features into the SaaS offering.
Responsibilities:
•Understand current product and current list of enterprise customer requirements
•Understand market landscape; perform competitive analyses
•Analyze customer requirements and gather additional customer feedback
•Prioritize product requirements and define prioritized features in detail
•Translate overall vision/strategy into detailed product roadmap
•Utilize A/B testing and product usage analytics to refine product features
•Drive product deliverables and timelines using agile methodologies across engineering, UX and QA and outsourced teams
•Provide product support for sales engaging with CIO/CSO level decision makers
Requirements:
•8+ years of experience in product management across complete life cycle of successful enterprise product/SaaS solutions
•Prior experience with enterprise collaboration solutions such as Yammer, Salesforce.com, Box, Jive, Google Enterprise Apps, etc.
•Prior experience with document management or real time messaging solutions
•Technical background and understanding of SaaS architecture and security issues
•Ability to work in a fast paced start up environment
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to confidently and persuasively engage CIO/CSO level decision makers
•Technical bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
