(FTE) Senior level Programmer/Analyst with EDI and Semiconductor
experience (Santa Clara)

We are immediately hiring an experienced and highly motivated External Manufacturing Programmer/Analyst in Santa Clara, CA to join our client's Team as a full-time permanent employee. This is not a contract position, but a permanent placement. You will be responsible for supporting the software and report development needs of the External Manufacturing team. Our client is a large Bay Area Semiconductor company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Integrate External Vendor data into MES and ERP systems
· Gather requirements from end users
· Maintain/develop reports, collaborate with the corporate B2B team to setup data exchange with vendors
· Analyze business processes and recommend improvements and solutions based on existing operating procedures
· Establish data validation and monitor processes to improve external data integrity.


REQUIREMENTS

· Must have Semiconductor experience working with Electronic data interchange
· Bachelors of Science (or higher) in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field
· 5+ years of experience with Rosettanet, Java, Javascript, CSS, HTML, XML, XSLT, JQuery, AJAX
· Database skills: Oracle SQL, table design (ERD), ETL
· Experience with application API libraries (Java)
· Object Oriented Programming
· Web Application (Apache, Tomcat)
· Code Version Control (CVS, SVN, etc.)
· Previous SAP experience
· Unit testing skills
· Debugging skills
· Self-motivated and ability to produce positive results with minimal supervision
