JOB TITLE: Business Analyst :

POSITION SUMMARY: Primary responsibilities include working with the Product Management and Software Development teams in order to plan, launch and develop product functionality. Efforts involve working throughout the product development process, including functional specifications, design reviews, and product beta and launch.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Responsible for developing and/or assisting in the development of user stories/requirements for products based on customers' needs.
• Works closely with Software Development within the Agile (Scrum) framework by serving as the internal product/project owner to drive prioritization, grooming backlog items, sprint reviews and retrospectives, and obtaining customer feedback during the development and testing phases.
• Participates in design reviews during design phases for new features and products
• Interviews customers to identify and clarify complex business requirements.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders including Training & Documentation, Implementations, and Customer Support to ensure resources are available in a timely fashion in support of new products and releases.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Training: 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.

Business Experience: 4+ years experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions using information technology. Strong experience in business analysis, requirements definition and deployment of business requirements to information systems.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
• Preferred experience with Active Directory
• In-depth knowledge in the launch of new products or new product features to customers.
• Prior project management experience.
• Strong oral and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong ability to work with multiple teams.
• Prior experience in healthcare or related field (Nursing or Pharmacy).
• Prior experience with Agile (Scrum) software development is a plus.
• Experience creating functional specifications or product design is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of product management, technical project management and/or the implementation of technical systems with end user customers.
